Our final results are in, and it is with deep gratitude and great excitement we share that together, we made history!
Between A Night of Heroes and our Heroes Making History Challenge, we met the largest goals in the history of the event, raising over $211,000 and bringing together 300 hundred guests and hundreds more who supported by volunteering, donating auction items, or participating from home.
This means we achieved 100% of our goal for A Night of Heroes, in a year of increased goals for ChicagoCAC so that we can serve more children and reduce our waitlist for mental health care. This is a testament to your commitment to Chicago’s children, and a wonderful tribute to our 2023 Superhero Honorees: Gregg Elstien, Tabatha “Truth” West, and the Junior League of Chicago.
We extend one more thank you to our sponsors, our amazing emcee Irika Sargent, Anchor, CBS2 Chicago, keynote speaker Ashley-Lauren Elrod, volunteers, and staff for helping us host a magical evening filled with inspiration, celebration, and cheer!
You are a hero making history: your generosity helps children and families heal from sexual abuse through forensic interviews, mental health therapy, and more — all free of charge — so children can move beyond their trauma and return to their childhood.
